IWSH 2027 accepts submissions in different formats:
- Regular paper: novel and original research contributions of 8~12 pages
- Short paper: extended abstract of novel research works of 4 - 6 pages
- Oral presentation: one page abstract describing the content of high-quality manuscripts that have recently, within the last year, been submitted or accepted for journal publication.
All submitted papers will undergo a review process. As an incentive, the best student submission will be acknowledged with a Best Student Paper Award. Selected papers will be recommended for publication as special issues in Journal of Hydrodynamics and Ocean Engineering based on the regular journal review after the workshop.
Please note that each participant may give only one oral presentation. However, participants may be co-authors of multiple contributions, provided that different co-authors present them. Moreover, to include the paper in the proceedings, at least one author of each contribution must register for the conference.
Proceedings and special issue
An electronic book will be prepared by the IWSH 2027 organizing committee, and made available on the website.
In addition, a post-conference special issue in Journal of Hydrodynamics and Ocean Engineering will be considered for the revised versions of selected accepted papers from categories 1 and 2.
